The Tintern Grammar Avenue of Excellence celebrates Alumni who have achieved outstanding distinction in their professions or made a significant contribution to their communities.
These individuals represent the values of Tintern Grammar, and the diverse pathways taken by graduates of the School.
The Avenue of Excellence was established to formally recognise exceptional Alumni whose achievements have had meaningful impact in areas such as science, the arts, business, public service, sport, education and community leadership.
Inductees are nominated by members of the Tintern community and selected in recognition of their leadership, influence and contribution to society.
Professor Emeritus Charlotte Anderson AM

Professor Charlotte Anderson was a pioneering medical researcher who helped establish paediatric gastroenterology as a specialist field. Her groundbreaking research identified gluten as the cause of coeliac disease, transforming diagnosis and treatment worldwide.
