A Message From the Principal

I am pleased to share this final Alumni Newsletter for the year and to reflect on what has been a period of strong connection, celebration, and achievement across our Tintern Grammar community.

As we bring 2025 to a close, I am pleased to share this final Alumni Newsletter for the year and to reflect on what has been a period of strong connection, celebration, and achievement across our Tintern Grammar community. A significant milestone was welcoming the Class of 2025 into our Alumni family at the Valedictory Dinner. and Celebration Evening was also a memorable occasion, – recognising their accomplishments and the character development they have shown throughout their Tintern journey. I look forward to hearing of the paths they will take as they join our vibrant Alumni network.

This year, our Alumni community has continued to play a vital role in the life of the School. From sharing expertise at Careers Night, participating in reunions and the Golden Circle High Tea, and contributing to our Alumni in Profile series and news services, to supporting student programs and reconnecting with peers, your involvement enriches the educational experience we offer. I am grateful for the time, generosity, and enthusiasm so many of you have shown.

2025 has also been a year of meaningful progress within the School. Our students have continued to excel academically, artistically, and in co-curricular pursuits, supported by dedicated staff and strengthened by the values that sit at the heart of a Tintern education. These achievements reflect the enduring traditions of curiosity, commitment, and community that bind past and present Alumni generations.

As we look ahead, planning for our 150th anniversary in 2027 is well underway. This significant milestone will provide us with a special opportunity to honour our history, celebrate our shared stories, and acknowledge the countless Alumni who have shaped Tintern across a century and a half. We hope many of you will join us in contributing memories, attending events, and helping us create a year of celebration that reflects the depth and diversity of our community.

Thank you for your support throughout 2025. I wish you and your families a restful and joyful festive season, and I look forward to an exciting year ahead for Tintern Grammar and our Alumni community.
